GSP: "I Want This Win To Be Remembered Forever"

Georges St. Pierre (19-2) is saying all the right things in the run-up to his impending UFC 111 showdown with Britain's Dan "The Outlaw" Hardy (23-6). For one thing, he correctly recognizes that Hardy has absolutely nothing to lose in this fight, which is precisely what makes him so dangerous.

GSP and Head Trainer Zahabi "Protect This House" In New UnderArmour Ad

GSP Talks Dan Hardy

It's always nice to hear from Canada's MMA stand-out and all-around good guy, Georges St-Pierre (19-2). In this video from MMAFanhouse he candidly discusses his approach to fighting and what he thinks of Dan Hardy's chances of taking his belt. Personally, I would say it is not very likely.

GSP Says He's Healthy, Ready For The Next Challenge

UFC welterweight champion Georges "Rush" St-Pierre (19-2) recently told the Canadian Press that his torn groin is fully healed, stating "My injury is 100 percent now, I'm ready to go now."

GSP goes on to explain that, instead of undergoing surgery, he visited fellow Quebec-native and groin injury specialist, Dr. Marc J. Philippon, who injected the affected area with St-Pierre's own blood platelets to promote healing. That's a new one to me.

"Rush" says he's be ready whenever called-upon, which will likely be to face the winner of Mike Swick (14-2) vs. Dan Hardy (22-6) who are set to tangle at UFC 106 (Nov. 14th). Here are some of his thoughts on that match and the individual strengths of his potential future opponents:

"I look forward to fighting again and I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen between Swick and Hardy…. It doesn’t matter who I’m fighting, it’s always dangerous. I learned my mistake when I fought Matt Serra, who was a big underdog. I’m the kind of person who never makes the same mistake twice…. [Dan Hardy is] a great fighter, he really deserves it. … He’s got very lethal, very powerful hands. He can knock you out with one punch. It’s always a big danger when you fight a guy like him…. Mike Swick is very very fast, has probably the fastest hands in MMA. A very accurate puncher, he’s very well-rounded so it’s going to be a very interesting fight. They both have the tools to beat each other. I think the winner of this fight will be the guy who has the best strategy and who fights the smartest.”
