All day today, B.C. MMA Fan is relocating from the sunny Okanagan to B.C.'s provincial capital. As a result, we will be unable to cover the day's news, but having our headquarters in Victoria will position us to cover even more live MMA events, both on Vancouver Island and in the lower-mainland, and will help to foster our continued growth.
The first event will be this Friday's Extreme MMA Western Championships, an amateur event featuring over thirty live fights. The event is set to go down in Nanaimo's Port Theatre and begins at 7:00pm. I will be there to cover the fights, take some pictures, and meet both the fighters and the event's promoter, Don Arnott. It should be a great night of fights and I fully expect to see the house packed with Island MMA fans.
